I'm enjoying this as well, but I must say the peppermint schnapps was puzzling for me, too. I've never met anyone who drinks it straight up (in hot chocolate, yes!), and I don't know many men who would go for a liquer over hard liquor, beer or wine. I've always thought of Ianto as a gin and tonic man, myself. Of course, canon hasn't focused on this clearly very important bit of information about Ianto, so we are all free to decide he likes any number of things until some future episode tells us otherwise. :-)
