He'll go into the whole story later. But, yeah, it didn't make sense to me that he could do it all on his own with no one EVER catching on. He has one more trick up his sleeve that helped him get away with it. ;)

Not to mention, I really wanted to explore WHY he never told Jack. I want to believe that he didn't just instinctively distrust Jack because of something Jack had done. But he had to have had a damn good reason for not asking Owen to try and help him care for and/or cure her.

Glad this is working for you. I'm taking kind of a leap here trying to explain some of this stuff and I worry that people will go "Wow, Waldo, you're on more drugs than than the show's writers!" :)
